Trumbull, CT — February 04, 2010 — Océ, an international leader in digital document management, today announced its large format printers/plotters were rated best overall and Océ scanners received the “OPA Recommended” award in the 2009 annual Office Products Analyst (OPA) Print for Pay Survey.

Each year, the OPA asks commercial printers and publishing houses to rate the color printers they work with on a daily basis. The organization then compiles the results into its Print for Pay Survey. Surveys were completed via extensive telephone interviews and the internet over the course of six weeks. After a thorough validation process, the OPA had 296 responses represented in the study.

For the Wide Format Printer/Plotter portion of the study, respondents were asked to rate their large format printer/plotter on reliability, image quality, ease of use and productivity. Océ received high marks in all four categories, including the top ranking in reliability and productivity. The combined ranking of all four categories gave Océ the best overall rating for its wide format printer/plotters.
