Richmond, VA – May 4, 2010 –Timmons Group, a leader in geospatial and engineering consulting services, has been selected as part of a team by the U.S. Geological Survey’s National Geospatial Technical Operations Center (NGTOC) to perform professional mapping services under one of its recently awarded Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) architect and engineering services contracts throughout the US, its territories and possessions. The NGTOC awarded multiple IDIQ contracts, each consisting of a base 12-month period with four 12-month option periods.
Digital Aerial Solutions, LLC, (DAS) a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) located in Tampa Florida and their team were awarded a Small Business IDIQ by the USGS. DAS provides a wide-range of professional geospatial data acquisition and production services focused primarily on digital imagery and LiDAR acquisition, ground control surveying, DTM/DEM development, softcopy photogrammetry, GIS and digital orthophotography.
DAS chose Timmons Group as its subconsultant to provide GIS, survey control, map digitizing, metadata creation and product valuation services.
