CAD Gorilla Releases 2011 Autodesk Revit Training

San Diego, California, August 4, 2010 - CAD Gorilla, an Autodesk Authorized Developer, announced the release of its self-paced video training course for 2011 Autodesk Revit Architecture.

CAD Gorilla’s “Revit for Beginners” video training introduces users to Building Information Modeling (BIM) using Revit Architecture. Written with the perspective of brand new Revit users in mind, the course goes through the design of a contemporary, two story residential building model from start to finish. In depth explanations are provided on how to create walls, floors, windows, roofs, doors, floor plans, as well as custom 3D camera views, and photorealistic 3D renderings. The course was designed to get users up to speed quickly and begin working on their own designs using Revit Architecture within just a couple hours.

Drew Adams, Product Development Manager of CAD Gorilla comments, “BIM has transformed the way people think about architectural design. Our team is very excited to bring this unique method for learning Revit Architecture to the marketplace so people can become proficient at their own pace, on their own time, and from any location.”

The Revit for Beginners course includes 37 lessons, and over three hours of interactive video instruction developed by professional instructors, plus downloadable exercise files, and assessment exams that support the user throughout each step in their learning path.

“Revit for Beginners” is available direct from www.cadgorilla.com or through a growing number of Autodesk resellers. The single user retail price is $99 with discounts for students and multi-user implementations.
