CCE’s Oceans SDK Updated to Support CATIA V5 R20, NX & Solid Edge
Middleware Technology for Enterprise (ERP, PLM) Applications

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI – Aug 11, 2010 – CCE, a leading engineering software and services provider announces an update to its software development toolkit – Oceans SDK. The recent update provides support for latest versions of CATIA V5 R20, NX 7.5, and Solid Edge ST2 formats.

“This update further enhances the ability of enterprise application vendors (ERP, PLM) to access product data from CAD files without requiring a license of the CAD system.” said Vinay Wagle, CCE’s VP of Sales & Marketing. “Oceans SDK is a non-royalty based solution, with a single API that can read data from all major CAD formats including CATIA V4, V5, NX, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Pro/ENGINEER and Autodesk Inventor. This architecture significantly reduces integration costs, and enables our customers to increase the market reach of their core application.” added Vinay.

Oceans SDK is a CAD-independent middleware component technology, that provides enterprise applications the ability to access key product information in CAD files, without significant programming and integration investment.
