CAD Gorilla Releases Inventor Essentials Video Tutorials

San Diego, California, August 16, 2010 - CAD Gorilla, an Autodesk Authorized Developer, announced the release of its self-paced, intermediate level, video curriculum for 2011 Autodesk Inventor called “Inventor Essentials”.

CAD Gorilla’s Inventor Essentials was designed for both new and experienced users who are serious about becoming proficient using Inventor. The course covers the most common features and functions used by professional designers for creating 3D Parts and Assemblies. Developed as a concept-based curriculum, the course provides a comprehensive video library of features in Inventor that can be accessed on-demand, or when a user needs help with a particular function.

“Our teaching methodology lets you learn the underlying principles behind a tool, as opposed to simply being shown how to use them in one particular situation.” remarked Drew Adams, Product Development Manager at CAD Gorilla. “Many of our customers have been requesting and eagerly waiting for the release of this course. I’m very happy to announce that it’s now available!”

The Inventor Essentials video course from CAD Gorilla is offered by many Autodesk Resellers and Authorized training centers as a supplement to their instructor led Inventor Essentials classes. The video based curriculum reinforces topics covered such as Sketching, Sketched Features, Placed Features, Work Features, Reference Geometry, Patterned Geometry, Design Strategies, i-Parts, Assemblies, and Exercises that reinforce the concepts learned throughout the course.

“Everyone learns at a different pace, and let’s face it, when it comes to becoming proficient with CAD software, it’s really more of an iterative process than a one-time training event.” commented Jason Wright, Business Development Manager at CAD Gorilla, “The self-paced video format of this product lets users watch lessons as many times as necessary, or rewind to see and hear it again.”

Inventor Essentials is the most recent addition to the growing library of video based instruction developed by CAD Gorilla, which includes courses such as Inventor for Beginners, and Revit for Beginners. Inventor Essentials includes over 4 hours of video content, 97 lessons, hands-on exercises, downloadable part files, and assessment exams. Inventor Essentials can be purchased for $199, direct from www.cadgorilla.com, or from a growing number of Autodesk resellers and authorized training centers.
