Seoul, South Korea – September 8th, 2010 – INUS Technology, Inc. today announced the launch of InvisHands, a new tool that automates the process of creating complete CAD models from 3D scan data. InvisHands offers a new option to anyone in need of accurate reverse engineered models of physical parts. The service allows users
The service allows users of 3D scanning technology to focus on data capture, and offload the post-processing work to InvisHands. Anyone can get an instant quote and delivery time information for the conversion of a 3D scanned object to a CAD model via the InvisHands App available at www.invishands.com.

INUS Technology, the maker of Rapidform 3D scanning software, has been addressing the needs of 3D scanner users for years with applications that allow them to process scan data themselves. InvisHands is a new option for those that want to have a push-button reverse engineering solution.

There are four simple steps to get any 3D scan converted to a CAD model with InvisHands:

1. Download and install the InvisHands App.
2. Open a 3D scan file and select your output preferences to see instant pricing
    and delivery options.
3. Click start project. The data will be securely uploaded to the InvisHands server,
converted to a CAD model by InvisHands engineers, and returned to within
    the guaranteed delivery time.
4. Once you receive the email that the CAD model is ready, review it in the InvisHands App,
and if satisfied, click complete order to download the file and complete payment.

Using InvisHands is completely risk-free. No payment is required until the recipient is satisfied with the resulting CAD model. Input files can be polygon meshes from any 3D scanner that have been aligned and merged into a single file. Data is processed using Rapidform, and output options include:

• Native part files for SolidWorks, Pro/Engineer, Siemens NX, CATIA or AutoCAD
• Parasolid, IGS or STP format
• Optimized polygon mesh files suitable for 3D printing or engineering simulation/analysis

The beta release of InvisHands is now available for download at www.invishands.com and through Global InvisHands Alliance members, including Toyota Caelum, Marubeni Information Systems, Otsuka, DICO, UEL and K’S Design Lab in Japan.
