CAVE CREEK, AZ – Celeritive Technologies, Inc. announces the signing of a license agreement with OPEN MIND Technologies AG of Wessling, Germany. Under terms of the agreement, OPEN MIND will integrate Celeritive’s ultra high-performance toolpath engine VoluMill™ into OPEN MIND’s award-winning hyperMILL® CAD/CAM product and offer it as an option upgrade. OPEN MIND will offer VoluMill for 2-axis and 3-axis hyperMILL applications, which is expected to provide users with dramatically improved rough milling productivity.

The patent-pending VoluMill technology generates toolpaths that produce a consistent material removal rate. Their smooth, flowing motion establishes and maintains ideal milling conditions in any part shape. Reduced forces on the spindle and cutting tool enable machining hardware to be safely utilized to its full capabilities.
