Hie Electronics Introduces the TeraStack® Solution for Geospatial Intelligence Data Storage

Dallas, TX - November 5, 2010 - Hie Electronics introduces the TeraStack® Solution to the geospatial intelligence community. “The intelligence community can benefit greatly from the TeraStack Solution to manage and store critical long-term data,” says MGen Mike Lynch (USAF Ret), Hie Electronics Vice President of Government Sales and Business Development.

The TeraStack® Solution offers an energy efficient hierarchical storage management system comprised of an enterprise application server integrated with 78TB of online and nearline storage, and unlimited offline data storage, in a compact 15U unit.  Consuming only 600 watts of power, this “green” solution does not require special cooling or a raised-floor data center environment.

The TeraStack® Solution provides a turn-key system that can help solve many of the issues associated with the retention and management of critical GEOINT data. More information is available in The Better Way to Manage Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Data Storage, a white paper available from Hie Electronics:
