Eagle Point Software Named an Autodesk Preferred Industry Partner

Siteworks for Revit Optimizes Performance for Autodesk Customers in the AEC Industry

Dubuque, IA, November 30, 2010 Eagle Point Software, an innovator of AEC software, today announced that it has been chosen as a Preferred Industry Partner by Autodesk, Inc., a world leader in 2D and 3D design and engineering software for the manufacturing, building and construction, and media and entertainment markets.

"We're excited to be deepening our relationship with Autodesk through the Preferred Industry Partner program" said Brad Heil, Vice President of Products and Services at Eagle Point Software. "Being a member of the Autodesk Developer Network for over 20 years has provided Eagle Point an opportunity to thrive by building commercial applications that leverage Autodesk technology. With this new relationship in place, we look forward to more closely collaborating with Autodesk as we expand our Building Information Modeling solution portfolio and assist organizations in executing their BIM workflows."

Eagle Point’s latest addition to their BIM solution portfolio, Siteworks for Revit, provides architects, landscape architects and designers functionality within Autodesk Revit Architecture software to shape the terrain around their building designs. Architecture firms will find tremendous time savings and be able to better communicate design intent to civil engineers through the use of dynamic grading tools to model pads, parking lots, streets, sidewalks and retaining walls.

"We are proud to be working closely with an industry leader like Eagle Point Software," said Jim Quanci, director of the Autodesk Developer Network. "Together with our partners, Autodesk is committed to developing solutions that help customers design in better ways for competitive advantage. As a solution that aids in achieving this goal, Eagle Point's Siteworks for Revit drives BIM adoption by helping architects better collaborate with civil engineers about their design intent in the early stages of the design process."

The Autodesk Preferred Industry Partner Program delivers tightly integrated, industry-specific software solutions that leverage the power of Autodesk’s 3D modeling and simulation technologies to create competitive advantage for customers. Members of the Autodesk Preferred Industry Partner Program are market-leading software companies that Autodesk is working closely with to provide customers the breadth and quality of tools they need to make the move from 2D design and drafting to 3D modeling and simulation.
