Partnership to Deliver Highly Secure Cloud-Based Solutions for Collaboration Across the Extended Supply Chain
ANDOVER, Mass. and Solothurn, Switzerland – December 1, 2010 – Aras®, the leading enterprise open source Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software solution provider, today announced a development partnership with Trubiquity, a leading provider of global managed file transfer (MFT) and business process integration solutions. Together, Aras and Trubiquity will provide a series of solutions that connect the Aras Innovator enterprise PLM suite to Trubiquity’s Cloud-based services for highly secure collaboration and MFT in the PLM workflow.
The initial offering provides seamless access from within the Aras PLM solution to Trubiquity’s market-leading MFT workspace. Users can share, collaborate and manage CAD files, specifications, requirements and other intellectual property in a secure cloud-based environment from within their company specific PLM workflows. This capability enables the seamless exchange of CAD files and related product data between thousands of global supply chain partners simultaneously.
