Longtime Autodesk Reseller Expands Coverage to Huntsville, Jackson and Mobile
January 20, 2011 - BIRMINGHAM, AL – Hagerman & Company, Inc., one of the nation’s largest Autodesk value-added resellers will host a series of “ Technology Showcase” events featuring a variety of technical and educational presentations of Autodesk’s 3D design software.
The first event will be held Tuesday, February 15 at the Westin Huntsville in Huntsville, AL. The tour will move to the Hilton Jackson in Jackson, MS on Wednesday, February 16 and conclude at the Battle House Renaissance in Mobile, AL on Thursday, February 17.
The half-day events will feature Autodesk software demonstrations, including sessions for architecture, engineering and construction (AEC), manufacturing, and plant design along with the popular “AutoCAD Tips & Tricks” session. Guests will also have the opportunity to see the Dimension uPrint 3D printer in action, meet founders Dennis & Sandy Hagerman and other members of the team, and learn about new products and services available in the region. Attendees will earn AIA credits for qualifying sessions, and a special “2 for 1 Training Promotion” will be offered exclusively to companies that attend a Technology Showcase event.
Hagerman & Company acquired the business operations of Birmingham–based ALACAD in October 2010 ( see press release) and retained many of the former employees. ALACAD, one of the oldest Autodesk resellers, built a significant market share in the South in the past 25 years.
