January 27, 2011 -- TDC Group, Inc. (TDC), developers of Freeance Mobile software, announce the scheduled release of Freeance Mobile 5.0 on Android and iPhone, in addition to BlackBerry smartphones.  Freeance Mobile 5.0 for Android is scheduled for delivery in March followed by the iPhone-compatible version shortly thereafter.

With TDC’s announcement of its SmartForms and support of ESRI’s ArcGIS Server on all three major mobile platforms in North America, Freeance will allow organizations to easily create enterprise grade location applications across the core smartphone platforms that account for more than 75% of the smartphone market in North America.

Freeance Mobile is software used by organizations to create GIS location applications by integrating ArcGIS Server maps with enterprise database records, and then distributing the applications to smartphones.  Freeance Mobile device applications work with the Freeance Mobile server software, allowing end-users to access live GIS maps and custom SmartForm applications in the field.

Freeance Mobile 5.0 will be available in Canada exclusively through ESRI Canada and available in the United Kingdom through ESRI (UK). In the Caribbean region, Freeance Mobile will be available through GeoTechVision Enterprise Ltd.
