OSLO, Norway — (BUSINESS WIRE) — June 6, 2011 — Deltek (Nasdaq: PROJ) today announced that SINTEF has signed a strategic deal with a consortium led by Logica to implement the Deltek Maconomy ERP solution and the resource planning solution Deltek People Planner to improve internal business processes.

SINTEF is the largest independent research group in Scandinavia performing research in technology, natural sciences, energy, health and social sciences and more. SINTEF will be using Deltek Maconomy for financial management and project management throughout its organisation. Furthermore, SINTEF will be using Deltek’s resource planning solution People Planner and business intelligence solution Deltek Maconomy Analytix which are both fully integrated to Deltek Maconomy’s project planning and financial capabilities.

SINTEF needed several new, administrative business solutions which they want all their users and employees to deploy through an innovative, user-friendly portal. After a thorough investigation, SINTEF chose Deltek to deliver a new ERP solution seamlessly integrated with resource planning, CRM, and business intelligence functionalities. SINTEF’s new solution is now an integrated system that includes ERP, ECM, and search. Logica will be responsible for the overall implementation including project management, system integration and also for linking up the solutions in one central user portal based on Microsoft SharePoint.

With its solution from Deltek, SINTEF will improve its internal processes and project execution across its business. In addition, new and stronger business reporting capabilities will create greater transparency for the entire organisation:
