GIS Consultancy Broadens Product Offering with Access to Global Imager

DENVER, August 12, 2011 – Critigen, a leading spatial enterprise solutions and cloud managed services provider, today announced it has entered into an official agreement to become a GeoEye Channel Partner. The agreement broadens Critigen’s spatial product offerings, enabling the company to resell GeoEye’s high-resolution satellite and aerial imagery and LiDAR products, and allows direct access to GeoEye’s vast imagery archive and the ability to commission new collection of imagery.

“For decades, companies have come to Critigen to help them design and deploy some of the most complex location intelligence solutions on the planet,” said Scott Brooks, Critigen Vice President of Data Channel Partners. “The partnership with GeoEye now provides us the ability to deliver detailed imagery as part of Critigen’s product offerings across all of our major vertical focus areas:  Defence and Federal, State and Local Government, Energy/Oil & Gas, Renewable Energy, Transportation, Utilities, Emergency Preparedness & Response, and Commercial.”

Comparison of current and historical map-accurate imagery from GeoEye provides timely and vital geospatial insight for commercial, research and government users who need a clear understanding of our changing world to protect lives, manage risk and optimize resources. As GeoEye’s channel partner, Critigen now has direct access to a wide range of cost-effective imagery products and massive amounts of archive data, to give customers precise, real-time insight into our changing world. GeoEye owns and operates two color Earth-imaging satellites, GeoEye-1 and IKONOS, and three aircraft with advanced high-resolution imagery collection capabilities.
