Skire Partners with Anheuser-Busch to Standardize Brewer’s Processes Across North America Zone Facilities

Brewer Using Skire Unifier Capital Project & Program Management Solution for Improved Knowledge Transfer

MENLO PARK, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — August 24, 2011 — Skire, Inc. ( www.skire.com), the leading global provider of cloud-based solutions for managing capital projects, facilities and real estate, today announced that Anheuser-Busch is partnering with the company to use Unifier’s robust Capital Project and Program Management capabilities to manage key business processes, including project funding authorization, design and construction management, and document management.

Skire Unifier provides powerful, flexible and easy-to-use online document management and allows secure requests for bids and contracting to which contractors respond using the Unifier platform. Users collaborate over the Internet to identify action items, respond to RFIs, and track submittals. Dashboards and reports give real-time visibility into a range of projects and programs, such as status reports on funding allocation and project approvals.

A critical capability of Unifier is its integration to SAP so that cost management data can be imported into Skire for additional reporting. Workflows exist for cost, cash flow, closeout, and timesheet processes. Workflow is consistent across all sites, giving clients tremendous flexibility for deploying project teams. Standardizing processes allows the company to save time and have instant communication, collaboration and visibility across the business. Unifier has also allowed for critical knowledge capture and dissemination of their business processes to new-in-position employees.

“We are thrilled to see the value Anheuser-Busch is realizing year after year from Skire Unifier,” said Massy Mehdipour, P.E., chief executive officer at Skire. “Coordination and consistency across Anheuser-Busch’s brewery sites is mission critical to its operations. Our solutions help standardize process and program management, and our detailed reports and dashboards enable the company to make better informed and quicker decisions. We are excited to continue our strong working relationship with Anheuser-Busch as it innovates and advances its brewing operations.”

Anheuser-Busch has been in production on Unifier since 2006 with initial focus on decentralizing capital project execution functions and embedding a knowledge base into fixed processes. Over the years, the company has expanded its use of Skire’s solutions and now utilizes the technology to manage its 19 brewery and 24 agricultural and packaging sites in the United States and Canada.

For over a decade, Skire’s industry leading enterprise lifecycle management software system, Unifier, has helped organizations automate strategic capital planning and construction project execution.
