Gehry Technologies CTO to Serve as Featured Speaker at Autodesk University 2011

LOS ANGELES, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- Nov 28, 2011 -- This week Dennis Shelden, CTO of Gehry Technologies (GT) and Associate Professor of the Practice, Department of Architecture at MIT, will be a featured speaker at Autodesk University (AU), which takes place Nov. 29 - Dec. 1 at the Venetian Hotel at Las Vegas.

As a panelist on " Cool BIM, Digital Prototyping, and Visualization - How Modeling Improves the World," Shelden will show how modeling is enabling the realization of innovative geometric forms, freeing designers from the limits imposed by traditional architectural and building practice. By guiding project teams to new ways of collaborating on the cultural, performance and procedural aspects of building production, GT's customers have been able to achieve some of the industry's most challenging, sustainable, and aesthetically unique buildings. Dennis will discuss how building modeling is enabling a new world of convergence in the building disciplines, connecting information and processes across widely disparate spheres of professional interest and scale.
