Magnolia River International Formed

Hartselle, AL – January 9, 2012 – Magnolia River International, Inc. has been formed to serve as the holding company for Magnolia River Services, Inc. and Magnolia River Geospatial, Inc. (formerly Aeroquest Optimal, Inc.). Mark Brooks will serve as Vice President of Technology and Charlie Pecchio will serve as Chairman of the Board.

“Considering Magnolia River’s recent acquisition of Aeroquest Optimal and the potential for more acquisitions, we have made the decision to restructure the group under a holding company and to brand each subsidiary as Magnolia River,” said Kimberly Hoff, President and CEO of Magnolia River. “Although each subsidiary or division will focus on a particular aspect of our business, they will all work together as Magnolia River to offer our customers complete and comprehensive infrastructure and geospatial solutions. For example, Mark Brooks, who has served as Vice President and General Manager of Optimal, will expand his role and also serve as Vice President of Technology for all of Magnolia River.”

“Magnolia River is adding directors to its board who can help the company to expand its business and to finance its operations and acquisitions,” said Hoff. “We’re excited about the first new member, Charlie Pecchio, who has been working as a consultant to Magnolia River since last year and handled the recent acquisition of Aeroquest Optimal.”

Mark W. Brooks has spent over 20 years in the geospatial sciences, beginning his career with John E. Chance & Associates, Inc. working in the Gulf of Mexico as a survey technician, positioning oil rigs utilizing conventional and satellite survey technology. He then transitioned into the inland marine environment, specializing in the operation of multi-beam sonar systems. Mark has had extensive experience working with a variety of LiDAR system types, including bathymetric (SHOALS) and low- and high-altitude topographic systems for marine, engineering, environmental and transportation applications. For the past 11 years, he has served Aeroquest Optimal and its predecessor companies in several positions, including Manager of New Technologies, Director of Operations, and Vice President and General Manager. Mark holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering and Land Surveying, from Purdue University.

Charles Pecchio has spent over 35 years in executive management, business development, venture capital, and mergers and acquisitions, and has served as a director and officer of public and private companies in the U.S., the U.K, Germany, France, and Switzerland. Charlie served as a director, CEO, and Vice Chairman of 3001 International, Inc., where he led 3001’s recapitalization and expansion through organic growth and key acquisitions prior to its merger into Northrop Grumman. Charlie was founder of Verification Solutions, Inc. (VeriSol), the leader in online vehicle insurance verification. He was responsible for taking ROI Corporation from a small, privately held company with a few software installations to a public company with hundreds of thousands of installation. ROI acquired, and was the parent company of, GO Software, Inc., a leading provider of payment processing software, until its sale to VeriFone Holdings, Inc. Charlie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Pace University.
