In this role Scott will work with manufacturers to leverage the advanced CAD/CAM nesting capabilities of SigmaNEST® to maximize cutting machine usage and material optimization.
A native of Greenville, SC, Scott attended the University of Georgia. Afterward he progressed through cutting machine operation and programming positions with a local manufacturer. Scott’s fabrication experience includes five years on Trumpf and Bystronic lasers before moving into a programming position. Applying advanced nesting techniques to optimize material usage netted the company yearly stainless steel savings in excess of $200,000. Scott went on to become the company’s primary SigmaNEST programmer delivering new levels of efficiency and productivity.
