geographIT Provides ArcGIS 10.1 Upgrade Services to Pennsylvania and Delaware Counties

Lancaster, Pennsylvania (February 6, 2013) –  geographIT was recently awarded separate professional service contracts to provide enterprise ArcGIS for Server 10.1 upgrade services to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and New Castle County, Delaware.  Anticipated technical services will include configuring and publishing ArcGIS for Server 10.1 web services; developing custom web-GIS viewers to retire legacy viewers; configuring and publishing cached high performance map services that will be maintained with QuickerCacher™, geographIT’ s commercial cache management software; configuring geodatabase replication to support legacy GIS applications and E-911 operations; technical documentation; GIS administrator orientation; and on-call technical support.

“ArcGIS for Server 10.1 reflects a significant upgrade to the administration and publication of web services over ArcGIS for Server 10”, said Bruce Stauffer, Vice President of geographIT®.  “Accordingly, we are observing an increasing number of local government clients that are requesting technical services for upgrading their enterprise ArcGIS for Server production environments.”
