InspectionXpert Corp. Announces New Professional Services Division

November 12, 2013 – InspectionXpert Corporation (http://www.inspectionxpert.com) announced today a new professional services division focused on helping aerospace, defense, oil/gas, automotive and other manufacturing companies manage their quality documentation and improve their quality management processes. The new division, called InspectionXpert Services Corporation will focus on the company’s core markets including aerospace, defense, heavy manufacturing, and automotive. The division will offer a range of professional services including AS9102 FAI Planning, Supply Chain support services, quality management consulting and training, and software and system development.

“As we continue to build closer working relationships with our clients, we see the increasing challenges of meeting tight schedules and budgets with fixed internal resources, said Jeff Cope, CEO of InspectionXpert Corporation. The growing need for experienced, reliable and secure US-based quality management assistance and expertise was a natural opportunity to complement our growing suite of quality management software tools.”

With the shifts in manufacturing workloads, the increasing retirement of highly experienced personnel and the increasing use of proven quality process automation tools like InspectionXpert, experienced quality management professional services to augment and extend internal capabilities will meet a growing need. Many companies in aerospace and defense need reliable and scalable, on-demand services that are fully compliant and knowledgeable in ITAR/EAR and other export regulations. Finally, with an accelerating focus on integrated and thorough quality management processes, being able to support new quality program implementations and training across internal personnel and suppliers is a valuable new resource. InspectionXpert Services Corporation has several principles with a combined five decades of manufacturing and quality management experience.

Tanya Cox, AS9102 FAI Planning Services Manager offers over a decade of specialized experience within aerospace quality and engineering departments focusing on process optimization and the integration of automation tools. Starting as an inspector on the shop floor and growing into primary responsibility for multi divisional, global strategic first article Inspection, Tanya was the FAI focal point for worldwide suppliers, internal and multiple OEM's (commercial and military). Tanya led process improvement leading cross functional teams to accurately produce FAI plans/packages, implemented and managed FAI software, process, and provided leadership on audits, corrective action, projects, support and reporting in support of contractual requirements.

“Having worked with virtually all the major aerospace OEMs and a wide cross section of industry suppliers, our AS9102 FAI planning services should be a high value alternative for many companies,” said Tanya Cox. “I know we can help our clients increase the effectiveness of their in-house FAI planning processes and, in particular enhance their support for suppliers, many of whom can benefit from truly understanding and applying the value of AS9102 FAI planning processes.”

Mark Regan, Quality, Manufacturing, and Process Control Senior Specialist, brings thirty-nine years of manufacturing experience to InspectionXpert Professional Services;  thirty-four in aerospace including fifteen in manufacturing engineering, seven years in shop management, three years leading continuous improvement working directly with Shingi Jutsu, and fourteen years leading aerospace quality.  Mark is one of the industry’s most experienced quality professionals, leading teams of quality professionals at 65 international producers, responsible for 4000 part numbers in 23 countries.  Mark’s teams developed a number of innovative quality management tools including risk based first articles and a product transition process that included last article, first article and a capability assessment.  As a Supplier Quality Discipline Chief, Mark introduced and deployed an enhanced risk based first article, critical supplier reviews, quality clinics, PFMEA deployment for problem parts and problem suppliers, and teamed with other aerospace divisions to incorporate PPAP as a requirement.

“Many manufacturers and suppliers are trying to understand and apply continuously changing quality standards, while they are faced with the challenges of tighter budgets, fewer resources and extremely short lead times,” said Mark. “Our vision of an integrated set of quality processes from AS9102 to PPAP, with a structured and consistent management discipline and powerful new software tools, offers a unique combination of solutions and products from which our clients will truly benefit.”
