February 6, 2014 - The 'whirlwind' of "SolidWorks World 2014" has come and gone and it was yet another superb event in Sunny San Diego last week with exciting announcements, great presentations, lots of energy, and of course fun! From robotic prosthetics to the designers of the US Olympic bobsled, we were thoroughly entertained with engineers pushing the envelope of innovation. Every year SolidWorks comes out with cutting edge products/services and this year was no exception. Noteworthy product announcements and enhancements included SolidWorks Mechanical Conceptual, SolidWorks Inspection, ExaLead, DraftSight Professional, My.SolidWorks, and many others. All of these new and improved products are planned to launch later in 2014.
