June 17, 2014 -- GISconnector for Excel consists of two Add-Ins, one in ArcGIS Desktop and one Add-In in Microsoft's Excel. Both Add-Ins communicate with each other enabling the following features:
- Bidirectional data transfer between ArcGIS and Excel
- Transfer Excel Filters to ArcGIS as a definition query and definitions queries to Excel as a filter
- Transfer selctions between ArcGIS and Excel
- Transfer selections in ArcGIS to a filter in Excel and transfer a filter in Excel to a selection in ArcGIS

- No editing session required for transferring data from Excel to ArcGIS
- The GISconnector works very fast
- You can add new columns with the GISconnector for Excel, both from Excel to ArcGIS and vice versa
