Cambridge, 23 July 2014: GeoAware, The GeoInformation Group’s training and events team, has completed its first phase of free to attend GeoDATA 2014 seminar series reaching full delegate capacity at all its Spring venues.
To date, GeoDATA 2014 has staged three out of the six intuitive one-day events and attracted in excess of 300 registered professionals from across the spatial data industry.
The events, held between April and June, included Manchester, Dublin and Brussels with the latter venue (co-hosted with GIM nv) doubling its delegate numbers in just its second year of running and Manchester attracting the greatest number of exhibitors ever outside London.
GeoDATA 2014 Glasgow and Belfast are set for November with the seminars’ flagship event, London Showcase, rounding up the series with a multi-streamed seminar programme in December. Free registration for all remaining events is now open at www.geoaware.info.
GeoDATA, noted as an “excellent knowledge sharing event” in a post event delegate survey, gave the audience an insightful opportunity to hear from leading international organisations in the UK, Eire and Belgium including GI service providers, software developers and data suppliers. The theme, “Innovative Thinking, Creative Solutions” clearly demonstrated the impact that the latest technology, data innovation and new services are having on the GI industry as a whole.
