Saturn Electronics to Sponsor Michigan State University Formula SAE team for 2015

Lansing Michigan, Feb 28th, 2015-- We are very happy to announce that Saturn Electronics will be sponsoring the manufacturing of this year’s printed circuit boards. With the electrical system constantly being improved and innovated, the team relies on quality PCBs to fulfill all of the electrical needs. Several circuit boards are designed by members of the electrical team and are manufactured by Saturn. The boards range from the power distribution module to steering wheel lights and brake light. These boards are crucial for the success of the car, and with Saturn’s high quality PCBs, we can count on no failures with the boards. We look forward to working with Saturn for the rest of the PCBs this year, and many more years to come.

The Michigan State University Formula SAE Team is an entirely student-run organization that designs, builds, tests, and races a small open-wheeled racecar. The team competes nationally at two different competitions, one at the Michigan International Speedway, and the other at the Lincoln Airfield in Nebraska. Last year, the team placed 6th among 80 teams at the competition in Nebraska. The team builds a new car every year and manufacturing is currently underway for the first competition in May. With many design changes and improvements to all systems, the team is looking to finish exceptionally well at both competitions.
