The young star of the popular ABC series "Black-ish" will be a spokesperson for the Sandals Foundation by reaching out to young people both in Hollywood and on his travels.  Marcus recently completed a visit with his family to Beaches Ocho Rios Resort & Golf Club in Jamaica, where he got the opportunity to continue the volunteer work he began during a previous trip to Beaches Turks and Caicos with the Sandals Foundation.  These projects included; programs on animal welfare and endangered species, marine environment and conservation, as well as educational support.  In his role as YAA, Marcus will now continue to support the good work of the Foundation through onsite events, short films, social media and other platforms, as well as promote volunteer opportunities which can earn community service hours for teen guests of Beaches Resorts in Jamaica and Turks & Caicos.

"It is a great honor for me to align with the incredible Beaches Resorts and Sandals Foundation," said Scribner. "The outstanding and amazing work that they are doing helps to provide a very strong education to many children. They are vigilant in protecting animals and preserving their beautiful marine life. And, who could forget that they provide the greatest resorts in the world for families and friends to bond and create lasting memories. I mean, what's not to love," he concluded.

"We are thrilled to have Marcus as our first Youth Advocate Ambassador," said Heidi Clarke, Director of Programs for the Sandals Foundation. "His passion for giving back along with his ever-growing fan base is just what we were looking for to help us in our world-wide efforts to raise needed awareness for the programs we operate across the Caribbean region we call home."
