Ninth ACM SIGSPATIAL International Workshop on Indoor Spatial Awareness (ISA) 2018 Call For Papers

This workshop calls for regular research papers, work-in-progress papers, as well as system demonstrations. The themes of this workshop include (but are not limited to) the following topics:

2D and 3D indoor spaces
Applications and services for indoor space
Construction of indoor spatial databases
Context awareness in indoor space
Emerging applications and services for indoor spaces
Games representation in indoor space
Indexing and query processing of indoor spatial databases
Indoor space analysis
Indoor spatial data models
Interoperability and standards for indoor space
Management of moving objects in indoor space
Positioning, tracking and navigation in indoor space
Ontology for indoor space
Authors of accepted regular papers will be given the opportunity to also demonstrate their prototype systems at the workshop if they have such systems. Therefore they do not need to also submit corresponding demo papers.


The proceedings of the workshop will appear in the ACM Digital Library. One author per accepted workshop contribution is required to register for the workshop and the conference, as well as attend the workshop to present the accepted submission. Otherwise, the accepted submission will not be included in the workshop proceedings.

Instructions
Submissions must be original and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Papers must be formatted using the ACM camera-ready templates available at http://www.acm.org/publications/proceedings-template. All papers must be submitted via the EasyChair system, at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=isa2018.

Submitted files must be in PDF, where the following page limits apply: research paper (8 pages), industry paper (8 pages), demonstration paper (4 pages). Acceptance will be based on relevance to the workshop, technical quality, originality, and potential impact, as well as clarity of presentation. All submitted papers will be reviewed by at least 3 referees.
