Sensitivity has been expanded with a range of ISO 160-100000. Other features include a Maestro II image processor, a bright, 3" 1.036m-dot Gorilla Glass touchscreen LCD for live view focusing, composing, and playback on the rear of the camera and, of course, the camera also features the world-renowned Leica rangefinder focusing system.

The camera’s magnesium-alloy body features a matte-black finish with black leatherette trim and, like most classic M cameras, the top and bottom plates are made of brass. Leica’s new M10 Monochrom is compatible with all of Leica’s current M-mount lenses ranging from 18mm to 135mm, as well as most Leica M-mount lenses dating back to 1954.

Ideal for detailed landscapes and portrait work, the camera’s matte-black finish and spartan use of white enamel engravings and nameplates (there’s no red dot on the front of the M10 Monochrom) make the M10 Monochrom the perfect street photography camera for monochromatic imaging.
