Calling all AECO experts! There's still time to apply to speak at DCW 2021.

Digital Construction Week have announced a one-week extension to the deadline for the show’s call for speakers. Applicants now have until Friday 6 August to apply to take to the stage at the 2021 event.

Digital Construction Week is the UK’s only event dedicated to digital construction, engineering, design, manufacturing, and operation. The show will take place on 24-25 November 2021 at ExCeL London and is expected to attract over 6,000 visitors from across the AECO industry.

The event features over 120 hours of free-to-attend talks and workshops focused on innovation and technology in the built environment. So there are plenty of speaking opportunities on offer.

Event director Ollie Hughes says: “It’s been a bit of an odd year and with everyone’s work-life patterns different to normal, we wanted to give you some extra time to complete your call for speakers entries. So, we've extended the deadline by one week to Friday 6 August.

“We're looking for speakers to present on topics ranging from Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Business Transformation, to Geospatial and Smart Cities. We’re particularly interested in hearing from architects, engineers, contractors, and clients working at the coal face, delivering digitally enabled projects and digitalisations strategies.

“We’re dedicated to growing diversity in the built environment sector, so we're also really keen to give a platform to speakers from under-represented groups and those who haven't presented before. Even if you're new to the industry, if you can offer fresh new angles and perspectives, then we want to hear from you.

“There's no limit on the number of times you can enter, so don’t be afraid to submit more than one proposal – and be creative and daring with your submission.”

To apply, potential speakers need to submit details of their presentation via the speaker application form ( www.digitalconstructionweek.com/call-for-speakers) before the deadline of Friday 6 August.
