Tridaq had a huge success with their “What’s New in SolidWorks 2010” rollout event in Lincoln, NE with Jon Hirschtick as the keynote speaker.

Omaha, NE, Oct. 29, 2009 - Tridaq, Inc., a leading reseller of SolidWorks in the Central Plains and Rocky Mountain territories held its annual event “What’s New in SolidWorks 2010.”

The rollout event was held at the University of Nebraska Champions Club in Lincoln, NE. – was a tremendous success. “It was interesting to get the background of what we use and see every day… how far SolidWorks has come and where SolidWorks sees itself in the future!” – Ryan Marsh (Advanced Technical Services).

The event began with a presentation from Keynote Speaker, founder of SolidWorks Corporation, Jon Hirschtick. During his presentation, Mr. Hirschtick spoke about the history of SolidWorks, its promising future, and what is currently happening with the software. Mr. Hirschtick’s presentation was followed by in depth demonstrations of the new features of SolidWorks 2010, Simulation, PDMEnterprise, 3DVIA Composer, CAMWorks and power2design. Following the presentation and software demonstrations, attendees of the event were treated to lunch and a tour of the University of Nebraska Memorial Stadium and Tom Osborne Field.

“Having SolidWorks founder Jon Hirschtick attend Tridaq’s SolidWorks 2010 seminar at the University of Nebraska was insightful”, said Dick Longoria, Tridaq President. In Jon’s presentation, he mentioned CAD isn’t just about CAD anymore. In order to use design software effectively, we’ve got to manage data, analyze and validate designs, collaborate effectively and make all of these systems easy to use. Jon is a true visionary in the industry. His vision of the CAD industry has Tridaq excited about the future potential for SolidWorks and our customer base.

“For over a decade Tridaq has been a great partner of SolidWorks, helping our mutual customers throughout the Midwest design fantastic new products. I was happy to be able to attend the great event Tridaq put together at the University of Nebraska. We are looking forward to continuing to grow together with Tridaq into 2010 and beyond as we together fulfill the vision of 3D CAD.”
