Autodesk’s East Coast Headquarters Draws Accolades for Its Sustainable Design and Collaborative Building Process

Autodesk Sets Example for Integrated Project Delivery at Architecture, Engineering and Construction Division HQ

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — August 3, 2010Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK), a world leader in 2D and 3D design, engineering and entertainment software, today announced that the facility that houses its East Coast headquarters has received 13 industry awards in recognition of its innovative design and collaborative building process.

The building, constructed in 2009 and located at 1560 Trapelo Road in Waltham, Mass., is certified LEED Commercial Interior Platinum and LEED Core & Shell Gold. The Trapelo Road facility is also New England’s first example of 100% integrated project delivery (IPD), a building process that helps architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) professionals to exceed client demands by easing and integrating the collaborative efforts of owners, architects, engineers, construction managers, fabricators and end users at the earliest possible stage of any project.
