NAVTEQ Focuses on Navigation Systems for Commercial Vehicles at the American Trucking Association (ATA) Conference

Customer demonstrations and panel session reinforce how to save time, fuel and money through navigation

Phoenix, AZ – October 14, 2010 – NAVTEQ, the leading global provider of maps, traffic and location data enabling navigation, location-based services and mobile advertising around the world, will be featuring impressive industry solutions at the American Trucking Association Management Conference (ATA). ATA, being held from October 16-19, 2010 in Phoenix, AZ, is the largest trucking event in the transportation, fleet and truck industry.

The NAVTEQ booth (#525) will showcase live demonstrations by industry professionals on products and solutions helping to advance the transportation industry. Descartes Solutions, Teletrac and Telogis will demonstrate various navigation products using NAVTEQ map data.

In the booth, NAVTEQ will focus on high quality navigable data for the Transport and Logistics industry. NAVTEQ Transport™ provides a foundation for developing a wide range of solutions to support fleet management companies. Specifically designed to optimize the efficiency of turn-by-turn navigation for trucks and other large vehicles, NAVTEQ Transport data includes detailed road attributes such as physical restrictions, legal restrictions and HAZMAT warnings. NAVTEQ also offers Truck POI, which provides value added points of interest (POI) specific to the transport industry.

In addition, NAVTEQ will be moderating the following panel:
