Used in Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC), mechanical and plant design firms seeking to deliver unparalleled 3D collaboration experiences to their stakeholders, CadFaster|Collaborate enables distribution, annotations, and real-time co-viewing of 3D CAD models using online computing, even at the low bandwidth on notebooks and tablets.

3D designs are distributed as portable executable files, which are generated quickly from CAD interface using CadFaster’s plug-in tool, and can be opened by standard computers including notebooks and tablets. Portable exe file includes a 3D viewer embedded with a compressed 3D model enabling independent viewing and accurate verification of the 3D design. Users without CAD design experience can participate in the design review process due to the ease of use.

Up to 10 people can join co-viewing sessions in which each person can contribute by presenting their feedback to others. Annotations can be quickly reviewed during the co-viewing session using pre-defined views. All annotations are collected in real-time on a cloud server so they are accessible anytime from anywhere.
