TROY, Mich., March 17, 2010 -- Dimensional Control Systems, Inc. (DCS), provider of dimensional engineering software solutions and consulting services, today announced that New Business Development & Project Manager Richard Rots will address engineers and manufacturers at the COE 2011 Annual PLM Conference and TechniFair. The event will be held at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida from April 3 through 5.
Rots’ session will be held 4:30 p.m. on April 4. He will present “How to Use Simulation-based 3D Tolerance Analysis to Shorten Development Cycles, Improve Quality and Maximize Process Capabilities, Engineering Analysis & Simulation.” Specifically, he will share how the correlation of theoretical tolerance analysis results produced during engineering simulation to actual as-built results can help validate or adjust as-designed simulation parameters to more closely align with production process capabilities – creating efficiencies and speeding development.
The COE 2011 Annual PLM Conference and TechniFair brings together nearly 1,000 attendees including users of Daussault Systemes PLM solutions, along with computer programmers, product engineers, PLM managers, designers and CAD support specialists to share innovations and technology advancements.
"I look forward to presenting at this conference," said Rots. "As manufacturers work to shorten cycle times and meet ever-decreasing budgets, it is essential that they extend their use of dimensional engineering across the entire product lifecycle. I will demonstrate how this can help them achieve cost savings, improve quality and achieve process improvements.”
The session code for Rots’ presentation is 405 (PV); it is part of the Engineering Analysis & Simulation track.
