Businesses in Japan Can Gain Immediate Access to Technical Computing via SGI® Cyclone™

FREMONT, Calif. — (BUSINESS WIRE) — March 29, 2011SGI (NASDAQ: SGI), a trusted leader in technical computing, announced today that SGI Cyclone Technical Computing Cloud services will be available immediately, free of charge for up to ninety days, to customers in Japan affected by the earthquake and tsunami that struck the northern prefectures earlier this month. With Cyclone, customers who need immediate access to large-scale on-demand cloud compute resources can transition their workloads and data to SGI Cyclone over the Internet.
