In BlueArc's booth (#731) in the main hall, there will be showings of the 3D animated film "Gnomeo & Juliet," produced at Arc Productions, an animation and visual effects studio (formerly Starz Animation) of Toronto, Canada. Between showings, Avi Katz, CG supervisor who worked on the film, and Rob Pringle, technical supervisor and pipeline supervisor who also worked on the Disney film, will be discussing their efforts and how BlueArc helped enable this production, which debuted earlier this year.
The showings are 84 minutes long, and there will be several screenings each day in BlueArc's booth, with free giveaways of the film on DVD to select attendees. Popcorn will be handed out for everyone.
