13-01-2014 – With the appointment of Dirk Logie as CEO, Recore Systems BV, a Dutch fabless semiconductor company, takes a big step forward towards becoming a recognized supplier of reliable many-core processor subsystem IP, comprising both hardware and software components.

Mr. Logie is a senior management executive with broad international experience and a track record in leading high-tech organizations to growth and success. He is a former VP of Philips Semiconductors and was CEO at Chipidea Semiconductors and recently at AnSem in Leuven.

“In 2013, we developed a new vision for Recore while at the same time staying close to our roots”, says Gerard Rauwerda, CTO and co-founder at Recore Systems. “We will continue to expand our expertise of delivering many-core processor and network-on-chip interconnect IP for beamforming and embedded vision applications to customers in the medical, automotive, space, security and communication infrastructure markets. Our ambitions are high as we intend to enable software driven embedded system design for complex, reliable many-core subsystems“

Mr. Logie will be based at the company’s headquarters in Enschede, The Netherlands
